Enterprise venture building
You bring a concrete market problem and the first customer relationship. Xablu Venture Studio brings the team, the method and phased capital. We build further only when buyers provide the evidence.
Innovation project or new company
An innovation project improves your own organisation. Enterprise venture building starts from the same problem, but tests whether other organisations have it too and will pay to solve it. Only then does it become a company.
Internal innovation project
Enterprise venture building
An improvement for your own organisation, scoped to an internal need and owned by one department.
→A repeatable offering for multiple customers. Your problem is the starting point, not the boundary of the market.
An internal business case. Whether other organisations have the same problem is rarely tested.
→A market problem with recognisable buyers and budget, confirmed in conversations with organisations outside your own.
Your own teams and suppliers, alongside their day-to-day work and within existing processes.
→An experienced studio team that validates, builds, handles marketing and go-to-market, and sells, with agreed contributions from your organisation.
Budget from within the organisation, usually committed up front for the whole project.
→Phased capital from the fund. At every gate the studio decides on continuing, pivoting or stopping; the fund decides on the next budget.
A solution within your own operations, which stays inside the organisation.
→A possible independent company with customers, product and its own management team, in which your organisation can share.
No separate corporate process: the collaboration follows Stages 00 to 05, like every other venture.
01 · Stages 00–01

Outcome of this step
A go/no-go on venture building, based on buyer conversations.
02 · Stages 02–03

03 · Stages 04–05

Xablu Venture Studio contributes
Go-to-market, sales and preparation for independence.
Outcome of this step

Strategic value
Your problem becomes a company alongside the core business, without building a team of your own.
Commercial value
What you develop as launching customer you can also offer to your own customers and partners.
Financial value
Co-ownership of the venture and a share in the value created, as agreed before product build.
First step
Bring one strategic question. Together we map the problem, the buyers and the market outside your organisation, and close with a clear go/no-go on venture building.
Arrangements on IP, licences, exclusivity and participation are made before product build. Exclusivity is possible, limited in market, time and application.
